Down For the Count?

Written by

How many times have you felt beat up over the past few years? The economy falls off the cliff, Punch Number One. Lay off employees, Punch Number Two. Personal income cut in half, Punch Number Three. Sound familiar?

There have been many punches thrown at all of us. The strongest fighters have survived and continue to get up when knocked down, but when will the punches stop? In my personal opinion (geographically based in Florida), certain market areas are getting a little stronger and punching back. Other markets continue to fight and run around the ring to avoid the punches the best they can. Eventually the energetic dominator will drop his guard and opportunity will present itself, so be ready when that time comes and take your swing.

Like a fighter, we have to stay in the best “business shape” possible; we have to watch our expenses to stay healthy; we have to increase our sales and produce profit to win the match. As you win each of these challenges, you will gain strength and experience; and like any boxer, you will have your battle wounds, but they will be well worth it in the end.

Keep a fighting!
